Check out the new song from Daforce – Go Go Go
Tell us about where you are from and how you got to this position today.
Daforce is from the belly of the beast, originally from Montreal and making that journey to NYC Mecca and eventually to California. So I’ll be staying in Lancaster for a bit. The position I am in is a result of lots of mistakes, lots of grinding, a positive attitude, and some positive homeboys.
Tell us more about the current song you are promoting to everyone.
Go Go Go is a club song, not too aggressive but just letting people know we’re out here having fun and popping bottles when we want to. We can do our thing too, just enjoying that minute.
Tell us about one of the hardest challenges you had to face in the industry?
Had lots of challenges over the years and to be honest all of them felt like the biggest obstacle at that moment.
What was one of the biggest set backs in your career and how did you bounce back?
One of my biggest set backs was signing a record deal and then having the album shelved while the politics of the business affects your life. On the positive side, knowing what I want to do and accomplish keeps you going.
What are some things artists need to be careful of?
My opinion! I think an artist needs to understand and know who you are as a person and an artist because forces out their will constantly test you on this. So artist needs to be careful of not getting caught up in the thunderstorm.
What suggestions do you have for other artists like yourself?
I think the only real suggestion I can make to any other artist on the way up is just keep grinding and hustle hard. Their is always a better tommorow if you believe there will be one.
What is one of your favorite ways to promote yourself and your music?
One of my favorite ways to promote myself is on the movie set. I always meet aspiring actors and singers on the set and you see that fire in their eyes, just like they see your fire. So usually everybody is receptive to self promotion.

TOP RATED MOTOWN SOUNDING RAP SINGER DAFORCE GOES WORLDWIDE ONLINE!
Universal Urban Funk Rapper DaForce Gets Attention without Anyone Even Realizing!
I heard of a rap singer who sounds like he's doing Motown Hip Hop. Who is Daforece and are his influences Rap artists like Run DMC, LL Cool J, Erik B and Rakim, which became part of DAFORCE's distinct signature sound? I know Run DMC and LL Cool J. don't sound Motown, but this rapper does sound Motown.:
DAFORCE A.K.A. Force Dawg is known for his free-flowing rap style over hitting hip-hop Motown Beats. Daforce was introduced to his first instrument, the VOICE. By age nine, he was introduced to to more musical genres. Neither instrument was enough to satisfy his thirst for musical knowledge but they helped shape his producing skills and aspirations. I read his bio and it says he loves Motown and wanted to step out of the box. That simple. Thanks.
Abet P says...
He's worth a listen, sort of a Motown Rap song with a Dr. Dre twist, and a little bit of everything.
DaForce can be found here, what a great blog http://liveuniverse11.blogspot.com/
According to an A & R man, with Interscope Records "Music listeners are given the chance to like a singer for his songs and style, but most of the time those fans will not feel the same about the singer or his music," he says. "Fans become can become confused and are not quite as sure as the first time they may hear a tune, it's human nature," thus DAFORCE keeps his name abstract, interesting and even eye catching. And there is no problems with is music making the transition from hard core rap to a Motown sound rapping with a DAFORCE to be reckoned with.
Motown Rappper sounds great. I think it's the perfect mix for any rapper, especially one like DaForce. There are so many with a similar name, I'm sure he took care with that name, but in the end it's the music that counts, not the name. Right?
Daforce started his first band at 10 and took part in talent shows. The breakthrough of rap/hip-hop music on the mainstream heavily influenced how DAFORCE grew with the original music, which was an instrumental part of DAFORCE's adolescent years. Artists like Run DMC, LL Cool J, Erik B and Rakim became big influences in his DAFORCE's musical direction. Writing lyrics all day made it difficult to concentrate on school work, but the important thing was that the sound and songs were cranking out and the beginning and roots of the group was starting to form.
Daforce’s first home studio was just the beginning of many early demos. The rap star with the heavy MOTOWN sound came out with the first single in 1994. Then a second single and an EP a few years later. Currently DaForce is about to drop his third single to support his video. The full length album will follow shortly after. So be on the look out for this Group!
Daforce's skills as a producer made him sought after by many independent artists like Smokin Ya Prod is one of many new projects he is developing. Unknown Source Music is the label DAFORCE is signed to currently. Remember his face because you won’t forget his name: Daforce A.K.A. Force Dawg.
